Physics in Animation is a 3-day workshop that utilizes concepts within the world of physics to teach to kids, using animation to provide a fun, interactive artistic element to make the class more engaging.

About the event
The Physics in Animation workshop will explore a variety of topics on the fundamentals of space, including the solar system, the lunar cycle, stars, and space involvement.
Class 1: Dynamics
Class 2: Kinematics
Class 3: Matter and Energy
Dynamics: This first class, Dynamics, covers Newton’s three laws and what they mean, defining these laws in a way that will make sense for the kids to understand. The artwork for this is an animation of someone pushing a box, a concept that seems simple enough but draws upon all three of Newton’s Laws for an effective way to illustrate the information taught in class. Students will be able to learn more about how objects interact with each other the way they do, and come out of the class being able to visualize and understand the physical factors of these objects.
